The Trans-Siberian Orchestra

If you've ever been torn between going to the symphony or a rock concert, you need to check out the Trans-Siberian Orchestra

My wife and I decided to attend their "Christmas Eve & Other Stories" concert held in Kansas City on December 1st, 2001. Unfortunately, we decided this long after tickets had gone on sale. Fortunately we waited and went to the box office just after it opened on show day and got some great seats that the band had just released. We wound up about 7 rows from the stage, a bit to the right.

It was a 'no professional cameras' show so all I had was my trusty little Minox GT-E. It may look like a toy but it takes pictures to rival my main camera - Minolta's pro level Maxxum 9. The only real disadvantage of the GT-E is that the lens is a semi-wide angle (35mm) with no zoom. Therefore all of the pictures pretty much cover the whole stage.

We had a wonderful time and picked up a few souveneirs
