(I thought that bird would never take off from the tree)
The 2003 event was held Saturday, March 22nd, 2003 at the historic Madrid Theatre located at 3810 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
The event began at 6:30 p.m. with a Silent Auction and Cocktail Reception. The Live Auction followed at 8:30 p.m. All proceeds from Musical Masterpieces go to the Symphony to continue our commitment to artistic growth and Youth education .
Bryan Busby, Chief Meteorologist of KMBC Channel 9 News, was the evening's Master of Ceremonies and Colonel Wes Schlobaum of Best Deal Auction Systems enticed the guests as the Event Auctioneer.
One of the many reasons I'm proud to have bene a part of this prestigious event is that I'm the only photographer in the history of the event. True, it is only the second year but I'll take what I can get. No matter what, I'll always have been the first photographer.

The artworks were on preview display at the following places: Z Gallerie on the Plaza; Webster House at 1644 Wyandotte; Pinstripes on the Plaza; and Halls on the Plaza.
