99.7 KY celebrated their 28th birthday on August 16th, 2002. The concert celebration featured Jackson Brown and Tom Petty. Local band Choozy Mothers won the Battle of The Bands to be the special opening act.
Tom Petty is strangely camera-shy for a rock star so there was no Press Pass available. All shots of the actual concert were taken from our seats. Images that have an 'X' at the start of their magic number were taken by Winnie Van Dyke, all others by Steven Van Dyke.
