Since 1998 the SERTOMA Club of Kansas City has sponsored a Balloon Festival in Kansas City. Since 1999 they've brought it together with the city's Aviation Expo. Due to scheduling conflicts I wasn't able to get to the Aviation Expo this year, but I did make it to the Balloon Glow held as the concluding event.
In deference to my ever-indulgent wife, and my budget, I stopped shooting film after the sixth roll. But since I recently picked up a nice little ] digital camera (Minolta Dimage F100) I shot just a few more pictures with it.
This is a quick gallery of just those digital shots. I'll be adding the 'real' pictures as soon as my schedule allows.
