KC's Historic Garment District Museum & Needle Sculpture Dedication
On October 4th, 2002 Kansas City dedicated a sculpture and museum celebrating the city's historic Garment District. Along with the local dignitaries were a number of designers and workers from the district's heyday.
A fashion show of designs from the district followed the dedication of the sculpture after which the museum housed in DST's Poindexter building was opened to the public.
