Branson, September 2010
Hmmm....
Enough reward points saved up for one free night and Labor Day weekend coming up. What to do?
Answer: Pop on down to Branson, MO!
We bought tickets for the Acrobats of China online, in advance, made the hotel reservation and figured we'd just wing it for the rest of the trip. After all, we left Sunday morning and came home Monday evening so it's not like we needed to plan a lot.
Construction on 7/13 is just about done so the drive is now divided highway the whole way (much nicer).
Pretty much all of the shows were sold out so we just went to the one we already had (which was great!) and then did 'things'.
Let's see...
Stone Hill Winery tour, shopping at the Branson Landing, The Butterfly Palace, several nice meals and some pleasant wandering around.
And we were back home 37.5 hours after we left.
NOTE: three different cameras were used. The letter at the start of the image name tells you which camera. I used my DSLR, a Sony Alpha 900 ('a') and my Sony W200 ('w') and Winnie used her Canon Digital Elph ('e'). Sometimes she uses my W200 and I occasionally use her Elph but mostly the 'a' and 'w' pictures are mine and the 'e' ones are hers.Clicking on the thumbnails will take you to a frame by frame gallery
